The Omano OMFL600 is an inverted, trinocular fluorescence microscope, and while expensive by Omano standards, it remains priced 50% below competing brands. The viewing head is a trinocular, Seidentopf, inclined 30° with one WF10x eyepiece and one telescoping, phase centering eyepiece. Dual diopter adjustments and an interpupillary adjustment of 55-75mm allows a custom fit for each user. The nosepiece is quintuple with six objective lenses in the standard configuration. These objectives include three, long working distance, plan achromat objectives: PLL10x, PLL25x, PLL40xS and three, long working distance phase contrast objectives: PLL10x PHP2, PLL25x PHP2, PLL40xS PHP2. The condenser is 0.4 N.A long-working distance with a phase contrast attachment. (WD 50mm). A large mechanical stage measures 224mm x 208mm with 112mm x 79mm range of movement. There are drop down, low position coaxial controls for the stage. Coaxial coarse/fine focus controls include tensionable adjustment and up stop to prevent damage. Illumination includes a 100W Mercury arc lamp with the following excitation systems: UV-Ultraviolet, filter 330-400mm; V-Violet, filter 395-415mm; B-Blue, filter 420-485mm, G-Green, filter 460-550mm. Transmitted illumination is 6v 30W halogen.
